Breaking News: Ministry of Foreign Affairs statement regarding the evacuation of Turkish citizens in Lebanon

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that the evacuation of citizens who have applied to leave Lebanon will be carried out by sea tomorrow (October 9).

In a statement regarding the evacuation of citizens in Lebanon, the Ministry stated that the evacuation of those who have applied to leave would take place tomorrow (October 9), adding the following:

"In this context, two of our Naval Forces ships are scheduled to set sail for Beirut today. The total capacity of our ships is approximately 2 thousand passengers. Details regarding the evacuation process will be shared separately with our citizens who have contacted our Consular Call Center to date. If necessary, evacuation operations will continue in the following days. Preparations have been completed to meet the needs of our citizens upon their arrival in our country. The ships assigned for the evacuation will also transport our humanitarian aid to Lebanon."
