Breaking News: New development in the lawsuit to annul the CHP convention!
It has been reported that the lawsuit to annul the CHP convention has been postponed to June 30.
The lawsuits filed regarding the 38th Ordinary Convention of the Republican People's Party (CHP) held on November 4-5, 2023, and the 21st Extraordinary Convention held on April 6, were heard in court today.
The lawsuit filed for the annulment of the extraordinary convention held on April 6 was addressed at the 41st Civil Court of First Instance. This case was merged with the file previously opened on the same subject at the 42nd Civil Court of First Instance.
The court ruled for the drafting of the reasoned decision regarding the rejection of the request for an interim injunction. Furthermore, it requested that the current party bylaws adopted by the CHP at the November 4-5 convention be submitted to the file.
On the other hand, a letter was written to the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office inquiring about the current status of the investigation being conducted regarding the process in question.
It was decided that the next hearing will be held on June 30.
