Breaking News: Operation at IMM subsidiary Boğaziçi Yönetim AŞ! Names of those detained have been revealed

Operations targeting the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) continue. Most recently, an operation was carried out against the IMM subsidiary Boğaziçi Yönetim AŞ on charges of 'rigging bids.'

It has been learned that 57 people, including Boğaziçi Yönetim AŞ General Manager Sema Akça, were detained in simultaneous operations conducted in Istanbul, as well as in Adana, Bursa, Diyarbakır, Konya, and Yalova.

STATEMENT FROM THE CHIEF PUBLIC PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE

The statement issued by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office included the following:

"Within the scope of the investigation file numbered 2024/247765 of our Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was evaluated that the tenders of the company titled Boğaziçi Tesis Yönetim Hizmetleri Anonim Şirketi, one of the affiliate companies of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, were organized by suspect individuals, that there were irregularities in the tenders, and that the crime of Rigging Bids was committed within the scope of organizational activities. In line with the instructions of the investigation prosecutor, a simultaneous operation was carried out in 6 provinces (Istanbul-based, as well as Adana, Bursa, Diyarbakır, Konya, and Yalova) on 18.05.2026 to apprehend and detain 58 suspect individuals.

Within the scope of the operation, 57 individuals were apprehended and detained, and efforts to apprehend 1 fugitive individual are ongoing."
