Following Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's petition for the evacuation of the Republican People's Party (CHP) Headquarters on the grounds of a court order, police teams raided the CHP Headquarters.

Following the announcement that the Ankara Governor's Office had issued instructions to the Ankara Police Department, the police intervention began. Riot police teams broke down the garage door in the garden of the CHP Headquarters and entered the building.

A police barricade was set up in the headquarters garden to prevent entry into the party building.

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel tore up the notification delivered to him, saying, "They tore down the father's hearth for this."

Özgür Özel later made a statement in front of the Headquarters. Addressing citizens and party members, Özel attacked Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu without naming him.

"Since May 14 and May 28, 2023, I and my fellow fighters have been trying to do what suits us. Defeat and losing do not suit us. Surrendering does not suit Atatürk's party. I rebel against the alliance of those who want to take over Atatürk's party and those who want to surrender Atatürk's party.

If Chairman Ekrem and every soldier of the party you see here who set out for change could not set out on the first day, everyone who saw the sincerity and struggle of the change and joined it has been doing what suits them for a while. Some people are also doing what suits them.

While we were telling them at 07:00 this morning to announce a convention as soon as possible so this problem ends, and let's talk about this at 12:00 noon, those who brought every criminal type in Ankara behind them and showed up at the door of the father's hearth at 07:00 in the morning also did what suited them.
