CHP Chairman Özgür Özel stated at the Mersin Provincial Headquarters, "We will meet at a grand opening ceremony today at 15:00. We will talk about everything on Turkey's agenda there. In fact, we will make a long-awaited start from there. We will make a big surprise."

Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel held meetings in Mersin. During his visit to the party's Mersin Provincial Headquarters, Özel was accompanied by CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır, CHP deputy chairmen Burhanettin Bulut and Gökan Zeybek, Women's Branch Chairwoman Asu Kaya, and Mersin deputies Hasan Ufuk Çakır, Gülcan Kış, and Talat Dinçer.

Speaking there, Özel pointed to 15:00 and said, "We will make a big surprise."

Özel spoke as follows:

"We will meet at a grand opening ceremony today at 15:00. We will talk about everything on Turkey's agenda there. In fact, we will make a long-awaited start from there. We will make a big surprise. We are in Mersin today; we will have visits. We will have work to do. But at 15:00, we will have a new message and a new beginning from Mersin to Turkey.

I saw that our organization has put in the effort. Our rally, meeting, and opening ceremony in Mersin have been announced.

But I hope that you will bring those who need to hear our voice today, those whose voices we hear—especially retirees, laborers, farmers, citrus producers, tradespeople, and young people—to that square at 15:00, and that we will carry out the message we will give to all of Turkey and an important beginning together."
