In his statement, Emre said, "For a year, we have been facing very serious black propaganda, judicial operations, and conspiracies. Unlawful operations are being carried out against the municipalities we have won all over our country. One of these bothered us ethically. Regarding this issue, as the CHP, we decided at our first Central Executive Board (MYK) meeting to refer the Uşak Mayor to the disciplinary board by unanimous vote. Our High Disciplinary Board, which met extraordinarily on May 2, decided to expel Özkan Yalım by unanimous vote."
