Breaking News: Statement from DEM Party regarding Sırrı Süreyya Önder's health status!

DEM Party Co-Chair Tülay Hatimoğulları made statements in front of Florence Nightingale Hospital regarding the health status of Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and DEM Party Istanbul MP Sırrı Süreyya Önder.

In her speech to journalists, Hatimoğulları stated that they knew the surgery would be long and arduous, saying, “He has been in surgery for hours, and we know that the surgery will take a long time. This is the information the doctors have given us."

"Sırrı Süreyya has overcome many hardships to date. We believe he will overcome this hardship as well." said Hatimoğulları, adding, "We believe he will emerge from this surgery in good health and continue his life in good health."

Stating that they will continue to share developments regarding his health status to keep the public accurately informed, Hatimoğulları thanked everyone who sent their well wishes and concluded her statement with the following words:

HIS HEART STOPPED TWICE

Sırrı Süreyya Önder's brother Ali Fuat Önder reported that the surgery had ended. Speaking on Sözcü TV, Ali Fuat Önder said that Sırrı Süreyya Önder's heart stopped twice while in the ambulance and while being taken into surgery, and that he was resuscitated.

DEM Party Spokesperson Ayşegül Doğan said, "Although the doctors have not made a statement to us that the surgery is over, we are waiting for him to be taken to intensive care. We cannot confirm it because the doctors have not officially announced it.
