Breaking News... Third meeting begins: New members of the reconciliation commission announced!

The National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission, established in the TBMM as part of the new reconciliation process that the government has named "Terror-Free Turkey," has begun its work. The commission, which met twice last week, received presentations from Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, and MİT President İbrahim Kalın during its last meeting.

With the start of the new week, the commission is continuing its work where it left off.

Delivering the opening speech of the commission's third meeting, TBMM Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş said, "I would like to thank all my fellow commission members who have demonstrated their good intentions in an extraordinarily harmonious manner."

Kurtulmuş announced that following the IYI Party's decision not to participate in the commission, the 3 vacant commission seats have been assigned to the AKP, CHP, and DEM Party.

Cahit Özkan from the AKP, Umut Akdoğan from the CHP, and Celal Fırat from the DEM Party have become the new members of the commission.
