Breaking News: Trustees appointed to Hat Holding and Investco Holding

Within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding accusations of violating the Capital Markets Law and money laundering, it has been ruled that the assets of Hat Holding A.Ş. and Investco Holding A.Ş. be seized. In accordance with the decision, the Istanbul 3rd Criminal Court of Peace approved the appointment of the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) as trustee for the two companies.

The statement from the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office is as follows:

"Within the scope of investigation file number 2024/293366 conducted by our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office's Bureau of Investigation into the Prevention of Financing of Terrorism and Money Laundering Crimes, actions involving Violation of the Capital Markets Law, Establishing an Organization for the Purpose of Committing Crimes, and Laundering Assets Derived from Crime are being examined.

Within the scope of the file; the assets and shares belonging to the suspects of Hat Holding Anonim Şirketi and Investco Holding Anonim Şirketi, which are financially liable and dedicated to the activities of an organization that manipulates financial statements, controls market movements with baseless Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) statements, performs price-inflating and price-deflating transactions by acting in concert, attempts to establish public trust by bringing together unconnected individuals from different circles, strives to create a respectable image to hide previous administrative sanctions, and undermines public economic trust through all these methods, and performs various transactions to hide the source of unfair gains obtained through these methods, have been seized by the decision of the Istanbul 3rd Criminal Court of Peace dated 04.11.2025 and numbered 2025/11423 miscellaneous affairs.

For the integrity of the investigation, the preservation of financial records, and the protection of individual investors, the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund has been appointed as trustee for the management of the seized shares by the decision of the Istanbul 3rd Criminal Court of Peace numbered 2025/11425 miscellaneous affairs.

The comprehensive investigation is being carried out in a multi-faceted manner while adhering to confidentiality."
