Breaking News: Two consecutive earthquakes in Afyonkarahisar
Two consecutive earthquakes measuring 4.4 and 3.5 have occurred in Afyonkarahisar.
According to information on the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), a 4.4-magnitude tremor was recorded in Afyonkarahisar at 06:24.
The earthquake was recorded at a depth of 6.99 kilometers.

STATEMENT FROM YERLIKAYA
Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya made a statement regarding the earthquake on his social media account.
In his post, Yerlikaya stated, "As a result of the field scans by AFAD and our relevant institutions, and the evaluation of reports received by the 112 Emergency Call Center, there are currently no negative situations. I extend my best wishes to our citizens affected by the earthquake. May God protect our country and our nation from disasters."

SHAKEN FOR THE SECOND TIME
Shortly after the first earthquake, another earthquake occurred in Afyonkarahisar.
The magnitude of the earthquake recorded at 06:30 was 3.5, and the tremor occurred at a depth of 6.99 km.
