Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli made statements regarding the agenda at his party's group meeting.

Bahçeli had thrown down the gauntlet at last week's meeting by saying, "I will go to Imralı if necessary." Following this move by Bahçeli, the commission, which went to a vote to meet with terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan, gave the green light for Imralı with 32 votes.

Yesterday, it was announced that the members of the Imralı delegation of the commission, AKP's Hüseyin Yayman, MHP's Feti Yıldız, and DEM Party's Gülistan Kılıç Koçyiğit, went to Imralı. A meeting lasting approximately 3 hours was held with the terrorist leader.

Unhappy, hopeless, and restless teachers will unfortunately be the preparers of anxious and mindless generations. My hope and wish is that not a single one of our teachers remains unappointed. The restoration of the rights of our 1,611 teacher candidates who were eliminated in the interviews and the granting of additional quotas to our teacher candidates who ranked in the 2024 KPSS are part of our proposals and wishes.

'TERROR-FREE TURKEY' MESSAGE

They are waiting for us to carry the flag-draped coffins of our children in front of us. They say let our mothers cry, after all, those who are crying are not theirs. The chains of domination are being broken, they are afraid of this. They are uncomfortable with the fact that a peace belt will surround our internal front simultaneously with the end of terrorism. The 1.5-century-old imperialist conspiracy built on making Turks and Kurds enemies is being razed to the ground, and because of this, they are playing their last cards with their numbed consciences. A Terror-Free Turkey is the uncompromising decision of the Turkish nation and state.

At my age, I shout bravely, as long as the Turkish nation finds peace, as long as terrorism is uprooted and cast out of our lives, let our end be the gallows."
