Brother of international crime syndicate leader captured in Turkey
Wilhelmus Adrianus Leijdekkers, the brother of international crime syndicate leader Johannes Leijdekkers, who was wanted via an Interpol Red Notice, has been captured in a joint operation by the MIT and the Istanbul police. It was stated that the suspect, for whom the Netherlands has issued an extradition request, is wanted for money laundering.
Wilhelmus Adrianus Leijdekkers, the brother of international crime syndicate leader Johannes Leijdekkers, who was wanted via an Interpol Red Notice, has been taken into custody in a joint operation by the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) and the Istanbul Police Department.
It was learned that the Netherlands has requested the extradition of Leijdekkers, who is sought by Dutch authorities, on charges of "Laundering Assets Derived from Crime."
