Building collapses in Artvin! One person narrowly escapes being trapped under rubble
A building collapsed in the Kemalpaşa district of Artvin, with one citizen narrowly escaping being trapped under the rubble. There were no deaths or injuries in the incident.
In the 2-story building on Barış Street in the district, owned by Şaban Yılmaz and used as a grocery store on the ground floor, noises began to be heard during foundation excavation work on an adjacent property. Realizing the situation, Yılmaz and those nearby left the shop and moved away from the building. A short time later, the building collapsed completely.

A citizen who did not notice the situation and tried to enter the shop during the collapse narrowly escaped being trapped under the rubble. Kemalpaşa Mayor Erhan Yılmaz, who arrived at the scene after the incident, conducted inspections in the area and conveyed his "get well soon" wishes to the citizens.

Stating that the accident was avoided without serious consequences, Yılmaz said, "Thank God, we have no loss of life or injuries. One of our citizens was saved at the last moment. I also convey my get well soon wishes to him."
