The National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission, established within the scope of the new resolution process dubbed "Terror-Free Turkey," will meet for the 16th time. Busy agenda at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey this week: Ministers to present at the resolution commission, budget to be discussed

The Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) has a busy agenda for the new week.

The National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission, established in the TBMM as part of the new resolution process called Terror-Free Turkey, will hold its 16th meeting on Thursday, October 31, under the chairmanship of Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş.

According to TRT Haber, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan will make a presentation to the commission members in the first session of the meeting. In the second session, Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç will take the floor. Both ministers will answer questions from members regarding the process.

BUDGET MARATHON CONTINUES

Discussions on the 2026 Central Government Budget will gain momentum this week in the Parliamentary Planning and Budget Committee.

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz will participate in the discussions on the general budget and respond to questions from members of parliament. On the last working day of the week, the TBMM budget will be addressed. Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş will present the Parliament's 2026 budget.

PROBLEMS OF INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES ON THE AGENDA

The TBMM will also focus on the problems faced by individuals with disabilities this week. The research commission established for this purpose will listen to presentations by officials from the Social Security Institution (SGK) and the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR).

OCTOBER 29 REPUBLIC DAY

Celebrations will be held in front of the Parliament this year as part of the October 29 Republic Day. Citizens will form a Republic Procession with Turkish flags. The march will start in front of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and continue to the First Parliament.
