Cabinet meets today: Iran, NATO, and the economy are on the agenda

The Presidential Cabinet will meet today under the chairmanship of AKP Chairman and President Tayyip Erdoğan.

One of the prominent agenda items of the meeting will be the agreement reached between the US and Iran. The meeting will evaluate regional and international repercussions, and the effects of these developments on Turkey will also be discussed.

Cabinet members will also discuss the preparations underway for the NATO Summit to be held in Ankara on July 7-8. The agenda topics of the summit will be evaluated in detail, and the security and coordination measures taken ahead of the organization, which will be attended by the heads of state and government of member countries, will be reviewed.

Another topic of the meeting will be the second process called "Terror-Free Turkey".

The stage reached after the commission established in the Turkish Grand National Assembly completes its work will be laid on the table in the Cabinet. Planned legal regulations regarding the process, the roadmap to be followed, and current intelligence information from the field will be evaluated.

The economy will also be on the Cabinet's agenda. The effects of developments on the US-Iran line on the global economy, the latest situation in money markets, and developments in economic indicators will be addressed at the meeting.
