Cabinet to meet today under Erdoğan's chairmanship: Here are the topics on the table

On the first day of the week, the Presidential Cabinet is meeting under the chairmanship of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. At the critical summit in Ankara, the main agenda items will include the latest developments in Syria, peace efforts in Gaza, and Turkey's current economic situation.

The issue of Syria is among the topics that cabinet members will focus on as a priority. The ongoing operations of the Damascus army in the Idlib region and the latest situation on the ground will be examined in detail. Furthermore, the integration of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the Syrian branch of the terrorist organization PKK, into the Damascus administration and the reflections of the Memorandum signed on March 10 on implementation will also be evaluated.

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the peace initiatives being pursued in the region are also among the important topics to be discussed. The letter sent by US President Donald Trump to President Erdoğan regarding Gaza will be evaluated at the meeting. Determining the support Turkey can provide for the reconstruction process of Gaza and the steps to be taken regarding the political transition process are also on the meeting's agenda.

On the other hand, the second opening process, referred to as a "Terror-Free Turkey," will also be addressed. The latest information regarding operations conducted within the framework of counter-terrorism and the measures taken will be shared with cabinet members.

The latest situation in the economy, as well as the steps taken and planned in the fight against inflation, are also among the agenda items of the meeting. In particular, new policies developed to ensure economic stability will be discussed by the members.
