Car crashes into truck: 2 dead
Two people lost their lives in an accident where a car rear-ended a truck on the Eskişehir-Ankara highway.
In the accident that occurred on the Ankara-Eskişehir highway in the direction of Bursa, according to the information obtained, a car rear-ended a truck as it was making a turn at the Hamidiye Junction.
TRUCK DRIVER TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
Due to the impact, the car was dragged for approximately 100 meters. Numerous police, gendarmerie, fire department, highway, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that Ali Budak and his wife Havva Budak lost their lives in the accident.
The truck driver, Satılmış C., was taken into custody by the teams.
BODIES TAKEN TO THE MORGUE
A vehicle queue of approximately 10 kilometers formed due to the accident.
The bodies of the couple who lost their lives in the accident were taken to the Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine Hospital morgue. An investigation into the accident has been launched.
