Car loses control and flips in Aydın: 6 people, including 3 children, injured

In an accident that occurred around 16:30 near the Serçeköy junction on the Aydın-Denizli Highway, a car driven by Muhammet Kötelioğlu (42) lost control and struck a traffic light pole at the intersection. The vehicle flipped over due to the impact, and a total of six people in the car were injured.

In addition to the driver, Mehmet Kötelioğlu (67), Gamze Kötelioğlu (27), and children Mehmet Kötelioğlu (9), Cemre Kötelioğlu (4), and Çınar Kötelioğlu (2) were also in the vehicle. Upon notification by bystanders who witnessed the accident, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene in a short time.

After the initial intervention was performed on the injured at the scene, they were transported to hospitals by the teams. According to initial assessments, it was stated that the health status of the injured individuals under treatment is good.

While an investigation into the accident has been initiated, traffic teams took security measures at the scene and provided controlled traffic flow for a short period.
