Car overturns and catches fire in Malatya! 2 people lost their lives
A car overturned in a traffic accident in Malatya and caught fire; the driver and the passenger beside him lost their lives.
In Malatya, a car with license plate 44 ABB 728, driven by 24-year-old Berat Şahintürk, overturned into an apricot orchard on the Malatya-Sivas highway near Yenimahalle after the driver lost control of the steering wheel. The car caught fire shortly after.
Upon notification by bystanders, fire, health, and police teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident.
The fire department intervened with 4 vehicles and 8 personnel to extinguish the fire.
An investigation has been launched into the accident, in which the driver and 30-year-old Nahide Zeyveli lost their lives.
