Car plunges into irrigation canal in Malatya: 6 injured
A car lost control and plunged into an irrigation canal in Malatya. 6 people were injured in the accident.
Malatya’s Akçadağ district saw a car lose control and plunge into an irrigation canal. 6 people were injured in the accident.
The accident occurred around 17:00 on the Malatya-Kayseri highway in the Akçadağ-Durulova area.
According to the information obtained, the car with license plate 51 AAD 723, driven by Ü.E. (40) and coming from the direction of Kayseri, lost control and plunged into the water canal.
The driver, along with F.E. (39), Z.E. (9), E.E. (2), N.E. (13), and M.K. (23), who were in the vehicle, were injured in the accident.
Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. The injured were taken to Malatya Training and Research Hospital by ambulance.
An investigation into the accident has been initiated.
