Caregiver steals valuables from homes in Bursa
In the Nilüfer district of Bursa, Mukhbırakhon KUSHOKOVA, a citizen of Uzbekistan, stole valuables from the homes where she worked as a caregiver. KUSHOKOVA was apprehended in an operation and returned the stolen items, while efforts continue to capture another suspect, Adhkhamjon KUSHAKOV.
In the Nilüfer district of Bursa, towards the end of 2024, a woman named Mukhbırakhon KUSHOKOVA, a citizen of Uzbekistan, stole valuables from multiple residences. The complainants reported the suspect to the police, stating that various valuables had gone missing during the time KUSHOKOVA worked in their homes.
The first incident occurred on December 8, 2024. One of the complainants, Ahmet YILDIZ, stated that during the time the Uzbek national KUSHOKOVA worked as a caregiver in his home, valuables such as 2 gold bracelets, 1 wristwatch (5,000 TL), 1 wristwatch (10,000 TL), and 1 Rolex brand wristwatch (450,000 TL) had gone missing. YILDIZ reported that the woman, whom he suspected of theft, left the workplace after making excuses, and he also included information he provided to the suspect's husband in his criminal complaint.
STOLE VALUABLES
In the second incident, it was reported that 2 silver trays, 1 blue ring, and 2 stone-set necklaces were stolen from Cenk ÖZCAN's home between January 1, 2023, and December 27, 2024. It was determined that the stolen items were taken by Mukhbırakhon KUSHOKOVA, who was in the house for cleaning.
Finally, between December 10 and 17, 2024, KUSHOKOVA, who came to Atilla YILMAZ's home, stole 1 Omega brand wristwatch and 1 gold necklace. These stolen items were also recovered as a result of the investigation.
APPREHENSION AND RECOVERIES
In an operation conducted by the Bursa Provincial Police Department's Nilüfer Investigation Teams on December 28, 2024, the suspect KUSHOKOVA was taken into custody. During the searches, items such as 2 silver trays, 1 blue ring, and 2 stone-set necklaces belonging to Cenk ÖZCAN; 2 bracelets belonging to Ahmet YILDIZ; and a wristwatch and gold necklace belonging to Atilla YILMAZ were recovered from KUSHOKOVA. The suspect was arrested by the judicial authorities.
RECOVERY OF ITEMS AND OTHER THEFTS
Furthermore, personal belongings found in suitcases obtained from the suspect's home—including a suitcase, charger, and cover belonging to Ahmet YILDIZ; a hair dryer and shampoo belonging to Cenk ÖZCAN; and a tennis racket and clothing belonging to Atilla YILMAZ—were also found and returned to their owners.
FUGITIVE SUSPECT CAPTURED
The other fugitive suspect in the case, Adhkhamjon KUSHAKOV, was captured on December 31, 2024, as a result of a joint operation by the Bursa Intelligence Branch Directorate and the Nilüfer Investigation Teams. The Rolex brand watch belonging to Ahmet YILDIZ, which was among the items stolen by KUSHOKOVA, could not be found. Adhkhamjon KUSHAKOV was taken into custody on January 1, 2025, to be referred to judicial authorities.
