Celebratory messages from the political world on the 104th anniversary of April 23

For the 104th anniversary of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (TBMM) Numan Kurtulmuş, Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin, and Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy shared their celebrations via their X accounts. 

TBMM Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş commemorated the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and shared the following message:

"Happy 104th anniversary of the opening of our Grand National Assembly of Türkiye and happy April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day, which is first the holiday of our children and then all of us. 

I commemorate with gratitude the founder of our Republic and the first speaker of our Veteran Assembly, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, as well as his comrades-in-arms who fought on the front lines and represented our nation in the First Assembly, and the deputies who served in this supreme Assembly.

I wish success to our deputies who continue to serve our nation under the roof of our Assembly in their sacred duties.

Our Veteran Assembly, which considers national sovereignty the highest value, is the greatest work of those days when our nation came together to achieve a historic success. 

Our Assembly will continue to work tirelessly to secure our future in line with the goals of the Century of Türkiye.

We continue our work without interruption with the strong support of our people, who have shown their commitment to democracy by resisting coups and treacherous coup attempts. 

We will continue with determination to protect the trust of our nation, which constantly aims to be members of a society that lives in prosperity and peace, with conditions worthy of human dignity.

With the happiness of witnessing the joy of the holiday for both our country's children and the 'world's children' we host, I celebrate our April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day with my most sincere wishes and hope to reach many more holidays in peace.

Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin celebrated the children's holiday and stated the following:

Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy said, "it is everyone's holiday," and used the following expressions:
