Cem Garipoğlu's grave opened: New statement from Münevver Karabulut's father
It has been confirmed through examination that the person in the grave of Cem Garipoğlu, the murderer of Münevver Karabulut, is indeed him. Father Süreyya Karabulut stated regarding the result, "We are convinced for now," and indicated that he is not considering an appeal. Following the opening of Garipoğlu's grave, the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued a decision of non-prosecution.
The Silivri Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had decided to open the grave of Cem Garipoğlu, who murdered Münevver Karabulut in Istanbul in 2009 and was reported to have committed suicide in prison. The examination revealed that the person in the grave was indeed Garipoğlu. The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had issued a decision of non-prosecution regarding the case.

'I AM NOT CONSIDERING AN APPEAL'
In a statement to Kanal D Haber, father Süreyya Karabulut said, "Well, I trust in divine justice, that is my belief. We are convinced, I mean we are convinced for now, there is nothing to be done, we did what we could. My heart has been put at ease. I am not thinking of appealing... I mean, I haven't made a decision right now, I mean I am not thinking about it."
