Cem Küçük warns AKP members: 'Erdoğan will purge you all!' - 'Those preparing for the aftermath...'

Pro-government journalist Cem Küçük, who has recently 'pre-announced' operations targeting the opposition, claimed that preparations for the post-Erdoğan era are underway within the AKP and that some are moving closer to the CHP.

"Erdoğan will purge you all," said Küçük, who argued in his column for Türkiye newspaper that the case file regarding Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, who is currently being held in Silivri Prison, is very strong, yet noted that there is no voice of dissent within the AKP. Küçük stated, "It is impossible to understand the silence within the AK Party! No one is opening their mouth. There is such clear evidence, yet the majority is burying their heads in the sand!"

Claiming that there are those within the AKP who are cozying up to İmamoğlu and the CHP, Küçük wrote the following:

"In my opinion, the corruption and bribery allegations against Mr. Ekrem and his associates are very strong. They have a difficult task ahead. However, there are also those who are close to the AK Party and have a rapport with Erdoğan, yet are cozying up to İmamoğlu and the CHP. I don't have any data in hand, but I think Erdoğan is aware of everything. It is clear whose hotels İmamoğlu holds meetings in and to whom he grants tenders. It is known through whom İmamoğlu finances certain media organizations."

Stating that those preparing for the post-Erdoğan era will be purged, Küçük used the following expressions: "Those who have reached their positions thanks to Erdoğan and are now preparing for the post-Erdoğan era will also be purged. Erdoğan does not rush; he slowly purges everyone he is certain has betrayed him."

A similar claim had also been brought to the agenda by Yeni Şafak newspaper columnist İsmail Kılıçarslan. Kılıçarslan said, "Your preparations for a post-Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Turkey do not escape our notice either."
