Chain-reaction accident on the Anatolian Motorway
7 people were injured in a chain-reaction traffic accident on the Sakarya-Düzce border of the Anatolian Motorway.
A traffic accident involving 11 vehicles occurred in the Istanbul-bound direction of the motorway.
Upon notification by those in the vicinity, health, fire, police, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. The 7 people injured in the accident were taken to hospitals in Hendek and Düzce by medical personnel.
Meanwhile, due to the accident, traffic in the Istanbul-bound direction of the motorway was provided in a controlled manner for a period, leading to a queue of vehicles in the area.
