Chain-reaction traffic accident in Manisa: 2 dead, 3 injured
In a chain-reaction accident that occurred in the Akhisar district of Manisa, 2 people died and 3 people were taken to the hospital for treatment.
On the Akhisar-Balıkesir highway near the Gökçeahmet neighborhood junction, a car with license plate 45 ALF 105, driven by Yılmaz Uçar, collided with an intercity passenger bus with license plate 16 ARH 102, driven by G.K.
COULD NOT BE SAVED DESPITE ALL INTERVENTIONS
After colliding with the bus, the car was sent spinning and was struck by two other cars coming from behind.
In the accident, the 55-year-old driver of the car with license plate 45 ALF 105, Yılmaz Uçar, lost his life at the scene, and his wife, Sevcen Uçar (56), who was seriously injured, could not be saved despite the intervention of doctors at the hospital.

Due to the accident, another collision occurred when vehicles coming from behind struck the cars waiting on the road. In the accidents, F.Y. and K.M.Ç., who were in other vehicles, along with 10-year-old A.Y., were transported to hospitals in Akhisar by 112 emergency service teams.
While investigations into the accident are ongoing, the road has been reopened to traffic in one direction.
