Chamber of Commerce President fined for cigarette butt in Bolu
During the Bolu Fair organized under the leadership of the Bolu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO), municipal police teams issued an administrative fine of 578 liras to BTSO President Abdullah Alemdar for "polluting the environment by throwing a cigarette butt on the ground."
The Bolu Fair, where food, agriculture, livestock, construction, furniture, and home textile products were showcased, was held by the Bolu Chamber of Commerce and Industry between September 12-15 in the Yaşamkent neighborhood. Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcan, who attended the opening ceremony of the fair, saw Bolu Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Abdullah Alemdar, who was sitting in the seat next to him, throw a cigarette butt on the ground. Upon Özcan's notification, municipal police teams imposed an administrative fine of 578 TL on Alemdar for "polluting the environment by throwing a cigarette butt on the ground." It was learned that Alemdar paid the fine to the municipality in the past few days.
