HE LOST HIS TEMPER

Raising his voice, Özdemir reacted by saying, "Know your place when you speak to me, do you know who I am?" He then pounded the table hard and threw the water pitcher that was on it.

AGGRESSIVE REACTION TO VIDEO RECORDING

Noticing that a woman attending the meeting was recording the events with her mobile phone, Özdemir snapped, "Did you come here for a press conference or to film me?" He then attempted to throw the microphone on the table at the woman.

Angered that the argument was being recorded, Özdemir threatened the AKP members in the hall, stating, "If anything I've done here hits the press, I'll burn you all." At the same time, he turned to Bezirci and shouted, "Who the hell are you? Get out!"

INTERVENTION OCCURRED, MEETING DISBANDED

As the tension escalated further, party members in the hall intervened to try and separate the parties. After Bayram Özdemir left the hall, the district meeting was brought to an end.
