Child locked in an oven by friends in Kayseri! His hands and face were burned after the temperature was turned up

In the Fatih neighborhood of Kayseri's Bünyan district, 16-year-old B.Ç., who was playing with friends at a bakery one month ago, was allegedly locked inside the oven by those friends.

After his friends turned up the oven's temperature, B.Ç. suffered burns on his hands and face. B.Ç., who was later removed from the oven, was taken to the hospital and placed under treatment.

Recounting what happened to him one month after the incident, B.Ç. stated that his friends had instructed him to say that hot water had been spilled on him, and added the following:

“We played a match with my friends around 9 or 10 o'clock. We left there and all went to the bakery together. We went to the bakery to chat. After chatting for a while, my friend went inside the oven and came out. Then I got curious and went in. When I turned around, my friend was closing the door. I pushed the door with my hand, but I couldn't reach it in time. Then I put my hands in my pockets and pulled up my hood.

After it turned once, there was a click. The oven's temperature started to rise. I screamed, but they didn't open it. When I hit the door with my hand, my hand and head were burned. Both my hands and my face were burned.

After I got out of the oven, everyone panicked. While we were going to the hospital, my friends wanted me to say that water from a teapot had been spilled on me. I must have laid down in front of the bakery; I don't remember those moments.

I couldn't come to my senses for a few days; I remembered it later. At the hospital, they bandaged my hands and face and applied cream. Then they called my family, and my family arrived.”
