CHP files criminal complaint against AKP: 'Illegal vehicle allocation' occurred
CHP Zonguldak Deputy Deniz Yavuzyılmaz announced that they have filed a criminal complaint regarding vehicles that were illegally allocated from the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality to the AKP Istanbul Provincial Presidency during the AKP era.
CHP Deputy Chairman responsible for the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources and Zonguldak Deputy Deniz Yavuzyılmaz announced that they have filed a criminal complaint regarding vehicles that were illegally allocated to the AKP Istanbul Provincial Presidency during the AKP's administration of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.
Yavuzyılmaz alleged that 59 vehicles, which were allocated for a total of 14,657 days, were used irregularly.
In a statement made via social media, Yavuzyılmaz shared detailed information about these vehicles and stated that they are curious whether a public lawsuit will be filed.
Among the vehicles mentioned in the criminal complaint are various models such as the Volkswagen Passat, Renault Megane, Renault Clio, Renault Fluence, Renault Symbol, Opel Insignia, Ford Transit, and Dacia Lodgy.
This development has brought a new debate to the agenda regarding the AKP's period of administration in Istanbul.
While emphasizing that such irregularities must be addressed, Yavuzyılmaz drew attention to the importance of taking the matter to the judiciary. Now, all eyes are on what steps the prosecutor's office will take following this criminal complaint.
