CHP's Günaydın reveals notes on DEM Party's Öcalan meeting: 'He will make a four-part call'
CHP Group Deputy Chairman Günaydın disclosed notes from the DEM Party delegation's meeting at İmralı. According to Günaydın, they reported that there are no demands for autonomy or federation, and that a call for disarmament from Öcalan is expected.
CHP Group Deputy Chairman Gökhan Günaydın explained the details of the meeting held with the DEM Party's İmralı delegation on Halktv.
Günaydın stated, "The DEM delegation told us during their visit that Abdullah Öcalan would make a call for disarmament."
Furthermore, the Group Deputy Chairman reported that Ahmet Türk, the Co-Mayor of Mardin Metropolitan Municipality who was replaced by a government-appointed trustee, stated that there are no demands for 'autonomy or federation'.
Here are the highlights of the statements made by Günaydın:
Öcalan will make a four-part call; this call will be directed at Europe, Iraq, Rojava, and Turkey.
Ahmet Türk explicitly said we do not want autonomy or federation.
As far as I can sense, there is no demand for a constitution either!
No one outside of the key actors knows the entire paradigm.
The MIT (National Intelligence Organization) is involved in this matter.
It is clear that this has been in the works for a year.
We were given information, but we are not privy to the entirety of it; the DEM delegation conveyed this.
According to their agreement, Öcalan will make a call for disarmament.
