CHP Istanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik responds to reports that he is retired: 'My lawyers have taken action'

Çelik stated on his social media account regarding the reports that he is retired, "Today, based on incorrect information in a transcript circulated by certain circles, some claims were brought to the agenda that I am retired."

"Today, based on incorrect information in a transcript circulated by certain circles, some claims were brought to the agenda that I am retired.

When asked during my prosecutor's statement, I stated that I am a businessperson.

It is clear that an incorrect 'copy-paste' was made by the clerk at the prosecutor's office.

My lawyers have taken action to have it corrected.

I am not retired. I have been working for 24 years, and I will retire at the age of 62."
