CHP leader Özel in Bosnia and Herzegovina

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel arrived in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, today for the 29th anniversary of the Srebrenica Genocide. Özel was accompanied by Secretary General Selin Sayek Böke, Deputy Chairman İlhan Uzgel, Tekirdağ MP İlhami Özcan Aygun, and Party Assembly Member Melisa Uğraş.

Özel's first visit in Sarajevo was to Ambassador to Sarajevo Sadık Babür Girgin. The CHP leader then visited the Turkish Representation Delegation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Özel signed the guest book there. Subsequently, a plaque was presented to him by the Head of the Delegation. Özel also delivered the CHP's gift to the delegation and stated the following:

"You have performed very important duties here. You are fulfilling a very important representation on behalf of all of us. I present this gift to you on behalf of the CHP family with great gratitude."

Following this, the CHP leader and the Head of the Turkish Representation Delegation continued their meeting in a bilateral format.
