CHP Spokesperson: Early elections happen when the people want them

Republican People's Party (CHP) Spokesperson and İzmir Deputy Deniz Yücel made statements regarding the agenda at the Manisa Provincial Advisory Board meeting.

Speaking on the early election debates, Yücel said, "We are not talking about an early election today, but perhaps we will be talking about it seriously next year. Our number of deputies is not enough to trigger an early election. But if they continue to govern this way, the public will not be able to endure it. An early election happens when the people want it."

In his speech, Yücel stated that the architect of the success in the March 31 elections was Özgür Özel and said the following:

"One must read politics correctly. Politics cannot be done in defiance of the street. What did we do? We listened to the voice of the street. Politics cannot be done in defiance of sociology. What did we do? We produced the right politics in line with sociology. Of course, everyone has a share in this success. The retirees, minimum wage earners, workers, laborers, farmers, and tradespeople crushed under the cost of living have a share. Women and young people have a share. Our organizations have a share. Our mayors who took office in 2019 and wrote success stories have a share. But this success also has an architect. In this historic election, which we entered without an alliance, our Chairman Mr. Özgür Özel, who wove this success stitch by stitch with his youth, energy, excitement, and motivation, is the architect of this success."
