CHP takes the stage in Bayburt: 'Freedom for İmamoğlu' banner on the bridge!
The CHP is preparing to hold the 10th in its series of rallies launched for the imprisoned Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu in Bayburt. MPs, who hung a 'Freedom for İmamoğlu' banner on a bridge in the city center, are organizing a rally in Bayburt for the first time in 14 years.
The Republican People's Party (CHP) is continuing its series of mass rallies in Bayburt against the judicial process and arrest warrant targeting Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu.
After a 14-year hiatus, the CHP will meet with the public in the city square for a rally under the slogan "The Nation Protects Its Will, Freedom for İmamoğlu."
BANNER MESSAGE: "FREEDOM FOR İMAMOĞLU"
Before the rally, CHP MPs hung a striking banner on the bridge over the Çoruh River in the city center. The banner featured the phrase "Freedom for İmamoğlu."
IT WAS ALSO HUNG ON THE JULY 15 MARTYRS BRIDGE
A similar banner had previously been hung on the July 15 Martyrs Bridge in Istanbul.
