CHP's convention lawsuit postponed
The hearing for the lawsuit filed for the cancellation of the CHP's 38th Ordinary Convention has been postponed to May 26, 2025.
No decision was reached in the first hearing of the lawsuit filed for the cancellation of the Republican People's Party's (CHP) 38th Ordinary Convention, and the hearing was postponed to a later date, May 26, 2025.
Lütfü Savaş, who previously served as the Mayor of Hatay Metropolitan Municipality, and some party delegates had initiated legal proceedings for the cancellation of the convention held on November 4-5.
These lawsuits were consolidated with the case filed by İzmir delegate Hatip Karaaslan at the Ankara 42nd Civil Court of First Instance.
