CHP's 'Respect for the Constitution' rally cancelled! First statement from Özgür Özel
Following the martyrdom of 9 soldiers in clashes with PKK terrorists in northern Iraq, CHP leader Özgür Özel called an emergency meeting of the party's Central Executive Board (MYK). The 'Respect for the Constitution' rally that the CHP was set to hold in Tandoğan has been cancelled.
Nine soldiers were martyred as a result of a harassment and infiltration attempt carried out by PKK terrorists in the Pençe-Kilit operation region.
Following the tragic news, CHP leader Özgür Özel cancelled his program in Manisa and convened the party's Central Executive Board (MYK) for an emergency meeting.

The 'Respect for the Constitution' rally that the CHP was set to hold in Tandoğan has been cancelled.
FIRST STATEMENT FROM ÖZGÜR ÖZEL
CHP leader Özgür Özel made the following statement on his X (Twitter) account:
"In our Central Executive Board meeting held this morning, we continue to address the developments in the Pençe-Kilit operation region in all their aspects.
We hereby announce to the public that we have cancelled the rally we previously announced for tomorrow in Ankara Tandoğan.
We will make a comprehensive assessment and statement on the matter at the conclusion of the MYK meeting."
