Claims of 'Israel launched an attack on Syria'!
It has been claimed that Israel carried out an attack on the Qalamoun region, north of the Syrian capital, Damascus.
Social media accounts close to the Syrian regime have claimed that Israeli warplanes targeted several points in the Qalamoun region.
There has been no statement yet from either Israel or the Syrian regime regarding the alleged attack.
It is known that Iranian-backed groups are present in the Qalamoun region.
Since the civil war began in 2011, Israel has periodically carried out attacks in Syria against Iranian-backed groups and military sites belonging to the Syrian army.
