Clash erupts during ISIS operation in Ankara
During an operation targeting ISIS suspects in the capital, a man was killed in a clash, while his wife was taken into custody with injuries.
The operation, which took place yesterday morning in the Sazağası neighborhood of Ankara's Haymana district, was conducted at a residence where a couple identified as having links to ISIS was staying.
According to the information obtained, M.K. and his wife N.K., who were in the house during the operation involving Police Special Operations teams, opened fire on security forces. In the ensuing clash, M.K. was neutralized at the scene.
N.K., who was captured wounded by security forces, was taken to the hospital for treatment following intervention by medical teams.
