Condolence message from Ahmet Davutoğlu regarding the accident in Bakırköy
Future Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu shared a message regarding the traffic accident that occurred in Bakırköy. Davutoğlu stated that the family of his former student died in the accident, which claimed the lives of 4 citizens, and expressed his shared grief.
The trailer of a truck with license plate 34 ER 260, driven by Mehmet F. (50) and traveling in the direction of Florya on Rauf Orbay Street in Istanbul, struck the Havuzlu Junction underpass in front of the Bakırköy Yeşilyurt Air Force Academy.
Due to the impact, the truck overturned onto a car with license plate 34 TY 3045 that was traveling on its left side. Following the accident, 4 citizens lost their lives.
CONDOLENCE MESSAGE FROM DAVUTOĞLU
Following the tragic accident in Bakırköy, Ahmet Davutoğlu shared a post on his social media account, writing the following:
I have learned with deep sorrow that the precious mother, older brother, sister-in-law, and niece of my highly valued, loyal brother, companion, and student, Mehmet Aytekin, lost their lives in a tragic traffic accident that occurred in Bakırköy, Istanbul.
I pray for God's mercy upon our dear mother Güler Rukiye Aytekin and my siblings Recep, Sultan, and Merve Aytekin, who passed away in the accident; I wish the Aytekin family patience. May their souls rest in peace and their places be high.
