Consumer confidence index announced
The Turkish Statistical Institute has announced the economic confidence index data for September.
The economic confidence index increased by 2 percent on a monthly basis in September to reach 95.
In the same period, the consumer confidence index rose by 2.4 percent to 78.2.
The real sector (manufacturing industry) confidence index increased by 1.2 percent to 99.2.
While the services sector confidence index increased by 0.6 percent to 112.6 and the retail trade sector confidence index rose by 2.5 percent to 110.6, the construction sector confidence index decreased by 0.2 percent to 87.8.
