Contracted personnel numbers rising, assignments being regulated!
An important step has been taken to increase the quality and efficiency of services in the healthcare sector! With a new legislative proposal submitted to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), the employment of contracted personnel is increasing and assignments are being regulated.
A new legislative proposal in the healthcare sector includes provisions to increase the employment of contracted personnel and regulate assignment procedures. It is stated that these steps aim to improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare services.
The Grand National Assembly of Turkey has received a new legislative proposal that brings significant changes to the healthcare sector to the agenda. Prepared under the leadership of members of parliament, the proposal aims to increase the effectiveness of healthcare services. The proposal includes various regulations concerning healthcare personnel, healthcare institutions, health insurance, and oversight.
By increasing the number of contracted personnel from the current 27 thousand to 36 thousand, the goal is to enhance the quality and continuity of healthcare services. The proposal also includes new regulations regarding the assignment of contracted personnel.
In line with these regulations, provisions are made for the temporary assignment of contracted personnel domestically and abroad in certain circumstances. Temporary assignments of contracted personnel are envisioned for the operational needs of the Turkish Armed Forces, the Gendarmerie General Command, and the Coast Guard Command, as well as in emergencies such as disasters and epidemics, and during states of emergency, mobilization, and war.
