Corruption investigation into IMM: Arrest requested for 8 people

Within the scope of the investigation launched into the IMM, 8 of the 10 people detained were referred for arrest following their statements to the prosecutor's office, while judicial control was requested for 2 people.

In the new wave of the corruption investigation into the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), 10 people, including IMM Sports Club President Fatih Keleş, IMM Chief of Staff Kadriye Kasapoğlu, and the drivers of IMM Presidential Advisor and Medya AŞ Board Chairman Murat Ongun, were detained the day before yesterday.

Fatih Keleş's driver Hüseyin Yurttaş, Kadriye Kasapoğlu's driver Sabri Caner Kırca, Murat Ongun's driver Kadir Öztürk, as well as Mustafa Bostancı, accountant Zafer Çimen, businesspeople Salih İlhan and Bulut Aydöner, and Ağaç AŞ employees Fatih Yağcı, Murat Or, and Ümit Polat were referred to the courthouse today.

Following their statements to the prosecutor's office, 8 people were referred to the Criminal Court of Peace with a request for arrest, and 2 suspects were referred with a request for judicial control.

The individuals referred for arrest are as follows: Hüseyin Yurddaş, Sabri Caner Kırca, Kadir Öztürk, Mustafa Bostancı, Fatih Yağcı, Murat Or, Ümit Polat, Bulut Aydöner.
