Court ruling on individual who smuggled ticketless fans into Fenerbahçe match
An individual who smuggled ticketless people into the stadium during the rescheduled match between Fenerbahçe and Alanyaspor has been apprehended by police. The suspect was arrested by the court.
It was determined that "unauthorized spectator procurement" took place during the rescheduled match between Fenerbahçe and Corendon Alanyaspor, held last Wednesday as part of the 5th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig.
During checks conducted by the Istanbul Police Department's Sports Security Branch at the external search point prior to the football match played between Fenerbahçe A.Ş. and Corendon Alanyaspor at the Şükrü Saraçoğlu Sports Complex, it was identified that "unauthorized spectator procurement" was being carried out for the match.
As a result of coordinated efforts with the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, one suspect identified as A.K. was placed under surveillance.
A.K., who was followed step-by-step by the police, was taken into custody. The suspect was arrested by the judicial authorities to whom he was referred under the "6222 SKM" (Law No. 6222 on the Prevention of Violence and Disorder in Sports) offense and was sent to prison.
