Courtroom ban for 3 CHP deputies in IMM case

A new development has occurred in the case against the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), in which numerous defendants, including Ekrem İmamoğlu, are being tried. The prosecutor's office has intervened to implement an interim decision regarding the order of the hearing.

PROSECUTOR'S LETTER REGARDING HEARING ORDER

In a letter submitted to the court by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was requested that the interim decisions taken to ensure the smooth continuation of the trial be implemented.

EMPHASIS ON SECURITY AND ENTRY MEASURES

The prosecutor's instruction stated that security measures in accordance with regulations must be implemented around the courthouse complex and at building entrances. In this context, the aim is to prevent potential congestion and disruptions that may occur on the day of the hearing.

SPECIAL ATTENDANCE LIST PREPARED FOR THE HEARING

According to information provided by journalist İsmail Saymaz, a special attendance list was created for the new session following the argument that took place between the court panel and CHP deputies during the previous hearing.

PERMISSION FOR SOME, RESTRICTIONS FOR OTHERS

According to the prepared list, 9 CHP deputies, along with Özgür Çelik, were granted permission to attend the hearing. Conversely, it was learned that CHP deputies Mahmut Tanal, Turan Taşkın Özer, and Ali Mahir Başarır would not be allowed to enter the courtroom.
