Critical question from IYI Party's Çömez: Is Erdoğan behind the helicopter crash in Muğla?

An air ambulance that struck the Muğla Training and Research Hospital crashed into a nearby vacant lot. Two pilots, a doctor, and a healthcare worker lost their lives in the accident that occurred yesterday. IYI Party Group Deputy Chairman Turhan Çömez brought questions regarding the accident to the Parliament's agenda. Çömez submitted a parliamentary question for Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu to answer.

The questions posed by Çömez are as follows: 

WHY DID IT TAKE OFF IN DENSE FOG?

"On what date and at what time, for what purpose, and from where did the helicopter that crashed take off? When did it reach Muğla? For what mission were the helicopter and personnel sent to Muğla? 

Considering the four people who lost their lives during the accident, it is understood that there was no patient on the helicopter. If a patient was being transferred to Muğla by helicopter, from where and for what purpose did this transfer take place? If it was not transferring a patient, for what mission was the helicopter in Muğla?

Who gave the order for the helicopter to come to Muğla, the duration of its stay in Muğla, and the order for its departure from Muğla? Is there detailed information about this in the 112 records?

Looking at the footage shared with the press, it is understood that there was dense fog and visibility was extremely limited. Despite this, why did the helicopter take off? Who gave the flight order to the pilots? Were the pilots given the necessary and sufficient information regarding the current weather conditions? If so, by whom was it given? 

IS THERE A CONNECTION TO ERDOĞAN'S PROGRAM? 

Was the maintenance and technical adequacy status of the helicopter examined on time and as required? Are there reports regarding this?

Is there a connection between President Mr. Erdoğan's attendance at his party's Muğla provincial organization program on 21.12.2024 and the arrival of the helicopter and medical personnel in Muğla?

When will the accident investigation report be completed and will this report be shared with the public?"
