Cübbeli Ahmet claims his former community knew the election results
Cübbeli Ahmet, who was recently expelled by the İsmailağa community, has come forward with a striking claim regarding the recent local elections, stating that the İsmailağa community had received tips about the election results.
Ahmet Mahmut Ünlü, known to the public as “Cübbeli Ahmet Hoca,” had expressed his support for the AKP and the People's Alliance in statements made before the local elections, while arguing that it was not permissible to vote for other parties.
Cübbeli did not stop there; he claimed that the İsmailağa Community, from which he was expelled, did not openly support the People's Alliance and declared that FETÖ members had infiltrated the sect.
AUDIO RECORDING RELEASED
Cübbeli Ahmet released an audio recording on his YouTube channel, which he claims is of Seyfettin İnanç, one of the prominent figures of the community, addressing its members.
In the audio recording in question, it is understood that İnanç states they did not openly support any party in the local elections, while emphasizing that they supported the People's Alliance in the general elections because there was a 'survival issue'.
According to the report in Cumhuriyet, Cübbeli, evaluating these statements, refuted İnanç by reminding that in the 2019 local elections, the İsmailağa members supported the then-People's Alliance candidate Binali Yıldırım.
Emphasizing that the İsmailağa administrators might have “received a tip” that the People's Alliance would lose the local elections, he linked the lack of a support statement to this issue. Cübbeli Ahmet remarked, “Even if we knew we would lose, we would stand by the Truth; one does not go to the side of falsehood... Neither religion remains, nor the homeland, nor faith...”
“OUR VOTE IS FOR BİNALİ YILDIRIM”
Although Seyfettin İnanç claims it is a lie, in a statement released by the İsmailağa Community shortly before the 2019 local elections, the support for People's Alliance candidate Binali Yıldırım was explained with the following words:
“To the People's Alliance IMM mayoral candidate Binali Yıldırım
We believe that we should cast our vote. May the Lord grant him success. Amen.
Due to certain practices, rhetoric, and negligence that offend the sensitivities of the pious masses who have given their hearts to the AK Party and MHP, and which have therefore brought those masses to the point of reconsidering voting, some people are saying: 'Let it be a lesson, let it be a slap of compassion, we will not vote this time.' This is absolutely not correct.
Because we are not saying that the People's Alliance and IMM mayoral candidate Binali Yıldırım are entirely positive. We are not saying they have no negatives. However, when we consider the pros and cons of both candidates, their parties, and the alliances behind them in every aspect, the reality and truth that the People's Alliance and IMM mayoral candidate Binali Yıldırım have fewer negatives and more positives will be seen clearly and distinctly.”
