Turkey is focused on the massacre in Istanbul. Bahtiyar Aladağ killed 4 people yesterday before taking his own life. Today, the missing bodies were found. The bodies discovered were identified as the perpetrator's wife, mother-in-law, and 10-year-old child. While the total death toll has risen to 8, the treatment of 2 injured individuals continues.

3 CRIMINAL RECORDS HAD EMERGED

It was revealed that Bahadır Aladağ, who killed 1 person and severely injured another at a hair salon in Avcılar, had previously killed his mother and father in Büyükçekmece. It was learned that Aladağ, who committed suicide after injuring his cousin in Esenyurt, had 3 prior criminal records.

GOVERNOR'S OFFICE HAD ISSUED A STATEMENT

Following the incident, a statement was also issued by the Istanbul Governor's Office. The statement indicated that Bahtiyar Aladağ, who killed 4 people and caused the injury of 3 others, was found dead inside a vehicle, and that the pistol used in the incidents along with 9 empty shell casings were found during a search of the vehicle. The statement further noted that a background check on the suspect revealed that Aladağ had a criminal record for 'using narcotic substances'.
