Lawyers for CHP Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Böcek, who was arrested on bribery charges as part of an investigation launched by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, filed a request for his release.
The duty criminal court of first instance, which evaluated the petition submitted by the lawyers, rejected the request.
