Decision on the establishment of 3 new Regional Administrative Courts published in the Official Gazette

According to the decision published in the Official Gazette, Regional Administrative Courts will be established in Antalya, Diyarbakır, and Kayseri. The judicial district of the Antalya Regional Administrative Court will consist of Antalya, Burdur, and Isparta. Furthermore, a Regional Administrative Court Presidency, a Regional Administrative Court Board of Presidents, 8 Administrative Litigation Chambers, 1 Tax Litigation Chamber, and a Regional Administrative Court Justice Commission will be established at the Antalya Regional Administrative Court.

With this decision, the judicial district of the Diyarbakır Regional Administrative Court will include the provinces of Diyarbakır, Batman, Elazığ, Mardin, Siirt, Şırnak, Bingöl, and Muş. A Regional Administrative Court Presidency, a Regional Administrative Court Board of Presidents, 11 Administrative Litigation Chambers, 1 Tax Litigation Chamber, and a Regional Administrative Court Justice Commission will be established at the Diyarbakır Regional Administrative Court.

The judicial district of the Kayseri Regional Administrative Court will be determined as Kayseri, Kırşehir, Nevşehir, Sivas, and Yozgat. A Regional Administrative Court Presidency, a Regional Administrative Court Board of Presidents, 5 Administrative Litigation Chambers, 1 Tax Litigation Chamber, and a Regional Administrative Court Justice Commission will be established at the Kayseri Regional Administrative Court. Additionally, with this decision, the Diyarbakır 2nd Tax Court will be established.

NUMBER OF REGIONAL ADMINISTRATIVE COURTS INCREASED FROM 9 TO 12

Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç, who shared a post on his social media account regarding the decision, emphasized that the number of Regional Administrative Courts has risen to 12, stating, "We are taking our steps with determination to ensure that trials are concluded within a reasonable time, that justice is served without delay, and that specialization in courts is achieved. The Decision on the Establishment of Regional Administrative Courts and the Determination of Judicial Districts and the Establishment of a Tax Court has been published in the Official Gazette and has entered into force. I wish for our courts, which will increase the effectiveness of the judiciary, ensure that administrative and tax trials are concluded in a more reasonable time, and further facilitate our citizens' access to judicial authorities, to be beneficial to our judicial organization, our country, and our nation."
